Facebook Launch and "Like" Campaign

Background: This company decided to hop on the social media train as a means to increase foot traffic to their brick and mortar store fronts.

My Role: I got them started on Facebook with an account and advised that their page should look"lived in" before attracting fans. So we uploaded videos from their TV commercials and started discussions by leveraging all the staff and their families. I also coached them on how to engage their particular "fans" once they arrived. Next step was to attract fans.

Since they have been in business for over a decade, they had an email database of 15k+ emails of current and former clients. Jackpot!

I launched an email campaign and all the other elements below. The first week, they had over 1,000 fans!

Social Media Marketing with YouTube.com

Background: Mentor Graphics, Inc., a global engineering company wanted to add social media marketing to their strategy.

My Role: I was charged with spearheading all online marketing efforts including video marketing. The first video was a high-end production for branding. I wrote the script and directed the creative team out of L.A. who had an impressive resume of work for the Oscars! I was fortunate to work with such a talented crew.

I also managed the process for localizing this video in China, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. We used all of these videos on corporate web site, web community, and youtube.com.

I produced all of these videos for Mentor Graphics.
